    Description

    This is a 48 page booklet published in 1894 titled "History of Sulphur and Sulphume."  It was published by the Sulphume Company who manufactured a medicine for rheumatism, gout, blood and skin diseases, kidney and urinary disorders, as well as Sulphume Soap.  It discusses the qualities of sulphur and it ability to help with a range of medical problems.  It is bound with staples.  The covers are soft paper and very fragile with tears and losses.  There is a water stain on the front and back which has bled pink through to the first and last pages.  It is 7" by 4 & 3/4" with some notes on the cover in ink.  The body of the booklet is complete and in good condition.
