Personal:
I am looking for info regarding my Grandfather. He would have been stationed at Camp Polk & Camp Claiborne Louisiana sometime in the summer of 1943. He was a Tank Trainer of some sort & never left the USA. Because I do not think he was ever assigned to a unit I can not seem to find any info on him. The 4 Tank groups associated w these two Camps were: 634th - 703rd - 773rd -814th. His name was Ronald E. Kelley from Indiana.
His patches/pins from pictures included:
A 2 stripe T patch
A round Halftrack button
A Tank Eating 8 wheel patch
I would appreciate any information. Thanks so much
