Includes chapters on Abortionism, Rheumatism, Asiatic Cholera, Ether and Chloroform, Obstetrics, Tobacco, Hysteria, etc. Last leaf is a full-page engraving of what I believe is a scary-looking gynecological tool, which follows ads for the author’s ‘Woman and Her Diseases.’ Good condition, with uneven browning and wear to covers, last leaf chipped.
