Antique Advertising Apothecary Quack Medicine Athlo Tablets Unusual Baby Logo

Description

Antique advertising apothecary bottle and original NOS container, Athlo-Tablets, prpared by The Athlophoros co in New Haven, CT.  Said to cure indigestion, dypepsia, malaria, impure blood, skin conditions, kidney and liver disorders, and disorders peculiar to women (female medical disorders).  Well, it cured it all.  This is probably circa 1880s, wood turned container box with a paper label.  It's never been opened and I'll leave it that way, it has a bottle inside.  Measures 3.25 inches tall and diameter is 1.25 inches.  Light wear and some pencil writing as shown, only for display collecting.
