Hamilton's OLD ENGLISH BLACK OIL POSTER, Greatest Healing Liniment of the Age !

This large, 23" by 17" poster was part of my grandfather's collection of primitive and Early West memorabilia.
When my grandparents moved from Pasadena California, to Las Vegas Nevada in the early 1950s, he discovered a very different town than the one we know today. On the outskirts were many old, almost untouched ghost towns, that nobody seemed interested in. Many of them still held a wealth of early Americana such as wagon wheels, old school bells, blacksmith's tools, and much more, such as this poster, which he gave to me. As you can see, it advertised a healing liniment for animals, such as horses, cattle and sheep.
CONDITION: It has not been folded, so far as I can tell, and is in pretty much the condition it was when my grandfather discovered it in a general store's supply cupboard in one of the towns. It is printed on light paper stock, and shows some wear, markings, edge and corner wear (see photographs). No rips or tears that I can see. Please consider that this rare poster is an antique ... by its very nature of being old is not "dead mint" or perfect. Please consider any manufacturing imperfections indicative of when it was made, and wear consistent with age, contact, handling and usage.
Of the many other things that my grandfather found, was a pot bellied stove, unused, still in its original box. This stove ended up being used in he and my grandmother's home. Then there was his garage full of things he had collected that he sold to a representative of the Gene Autry Museum. Those were the days!
