Dust jacket
is in poor condition, with edges worn and chipped, the
front flap is separated from front.
The upper third
of the dust jacket spine area is missing.  Cover corners and pine
are all bumped.  Cover
and page edges
are lightly
soiled.  All pages are tight and square.  Arthur may have begun the book prior
to World War Two and then rewrote after the out
break of
the war.  Previous owners name and February
1943 date on first endpaper are in ink.  A great book
of how truly un-prepared the U.S. was at the outbreak
of WWII.
