    Item Description
    For sale is a VERY rare NOS 1942 WWII US Navy ONI 41-42 Japanese Naval Vessels Identification booklet.
    It comes in it's original stock box and is an incredible piece of WWII military history.
    The booklet has 132 pages with 130 of them two sided with photos!!
    Approximately 90% of pages have photos/renderings of Japanese Naval vessels. The booklet has sections on Japanese Merchant Auxiliaries, Auxiliaries, Destroyers, Cruisers, Carriers, and Battleships.
    I TRULY wish I could list more photos of this incredible booklet as the photos of Japanese war vessels is amazing.
    It's printed on thicker paper, measures 10" wide x 6 3/16" tall, and comes in loose leaf form where it was supposed to be incorporated in the US Navy Task Binder.
    The booklet was never used and comes in it's original box from 1942!!!!
    It comes from the personal collection from early test pilot James O'Riley who served in both WWII and the Korean war.
    Condition:
    The booklet is in outstanding never used condition. The pages have no rips, tears, or creases. The pages do have some light corner wear. The original outer box has it's hinge separated and has seam splits.
