The front inside cover has handwriting: "Grampa Flack and brothers Harry & Frankie". The connection to make is on the last page you can discover that the book was written and produced by FLACK ADVERTISING AGENCY of Syracuse, New York.
This book would not only be of interest to family historians, but to anyone who has ever attended an event at the Onondaga County War Memorial. There are photos of the floor plans, construction, memorial hall, and the story that went into the making of this building. Since 1951 there has been basketball, concerts, ice hockey...all sorts of entertainment. The movie "Slap Shot" starring Paul Newman was even filmed here!
