Product Description
Romantic Rose Bride Barbie® is as graceful and lovely as the flower she's named for. Her lavish, appliquéd bodice is dotted with roses and hand-sewn faux pearls. Her exquisite train, accented with ribbon rosettes, is patterned after delicate antique lace and swirls gently around her ivory, satin skirt. Her auburn hair is swept up demurely, and in her hands, she holds a bouquet of delicate, handcrafted roses. This numbered 01909, Limited Edition doll is hand painted and handcrafted entirely of fine bisque porcelain, and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity and doll stand. Romantic Rose Bride Barbie®. A bouquet of roses. A veil of lace. A love that will last forever. Mattel states that she was released in 1996 on its Barbie Collection gallery, but the box says 1995.
I purchased this beautiful doll from a quality second-hand store in the box. She appears new; none of the accessories, paperwork or stand appear disturbed. All the foam protection is surrounding her except around her hands; I will ship her with some bubble wrap around her hands to protect them. She also has her hair net around her hair and face undisturbed. She was not attached to the styrofoam base, so I removed her for the pictures only. I didn’t straighten the dress folds or veil because I wanted it to go back into the box as it was; the lace is an ivory-color and has glitter.
The outside box shows a little wear on the bottom edges. There are two slight crush marks on the top of the box: front-left well as the right-side. Also, there is a crease on the top rear of the box about 1/2 long. There is a part of a sticker on the bottom of the box which I didn’t remove so as to not hurt the box.
