Tripod for use with Military fiberglass aluminum poles for HAM radio set-up

Now with locking legs!  The only tripod where you can lock the legs so they don't fall out while setting up.  For use with portable HAM radio towers.  Uses military fiberglass or aluminum poles 48".  Poles not included.Tripod can be tied down or trapped down using stakes.  When using on pavement it can be weighed down using weights or sand bags.  For use with portable stations for field day or emergency use.  You can also put the tower behind your house.  Use single poles for legs or you can double stack legs for a wider base. Tripod weighs almost 5 lbs, less then most other tripods.  For best results use my base (sold separately).  This allows you to anchor the tripod pole with stakes or weights to keep the tower stable and straight.  The inside diameter for the middle of the tripod is 1.8 inches; the legs are 1-3/4 inches to fit military fiberglass and aluminum poles only.  If your poles have ring on the bottom of it you will first need to cut the ring off in order to get the pole into the tripod and/or base.  This price is only for the tripod.  Base and rings are sold separately on Ebay.  We do not sell poles on Ebay.
