This booklet was published for the US 3rd Army in Germany in very limited production at the end of WWII. The booklet titled "Western Task Force 1942 - 46.  The book was for personal use only and not for wide scale publication.  The book was in honor of Colonel Harold E Hopping the Ordinance Officer under Brigadier General Ford and later Club Officer all for the 3rd Army. The booklet was basically a souvenir issue that was meant to collect autographs of the folks involved in the 3rd Army in Germany with pictures of the troop review as well as local Heidelberg Germany landmarks like Hotel Molkenkur, Schloss Hotel, Europa Hotel as well. These booklets are very hard to and a highly sought after historical collectible. The last one of these to come up on the market was sold as part of the estate of Lieutenant General Keyes who served as Deputy Commanding General to General Patton from North Africa to Italy in WWII. This booklet is not from that estate but was from the same limited printing and reemphasizes the rarity of this original WWII period produced booklet. As you can see from the pictures the booklet is complete but has some edge bruising from age. Please see photographs of the actual booklet that you will receive.
