WWII D-Day YANK Magazine - signed by 101st Airborne paratrooper in IKE photo

This is a rare, signed edition of YANK, the Army Weekly magazine. It is the Volume 3, Number 2 edition from June 30, 1944. It depicts the famous photo of General Dwight D. Eisenhower visiting American paratroopers prior to D-Day, the invasion of Normandy, France. This particular magazine is signed on the cover by the 101st Airborne Division paratrooper depicted in the center of the photo. It is signed by William E. Hayes, who served in the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 2nd Battalion, Company E. I have never seen another one of these magazines signed like this. Overall, this magazine is in good, used condition. It shows signs of wear. There is some chipping around the edges and tears to some pages.
