An original World War Two related Diary book that belonged to Thomas Turigliatto. There are various years inside.   Most pages are blank. In one area it says,.....They really had some fun here as all the houses and other buildings are all tore up. trucks, tanks and airplanes shot up all over the place......Witnessed the excavation of four German bodies out of a bomb crater. Sure was a sight and a lot of smell as they had been there for quite some time..........Setting up camp. Digging in the guns and getting all set for the enemy planes. We are located around a big air field and what a sight to see. The planes are as thick as flies, They sure look good taking off and landing...............
I currently have a document listed that says he won the Silver Battle Star. And was in the Rhineland and Sicilian battle campaigns.
The diary has some wear and stain marks.
