    Description

This 63 page booklet of cartoons about female soldiers serving in WWII is evidently so rare I can't find another copy in existence anywhere.  Originally published by the Tulsa Downtowner newspaper, it's a compilation of cartoons drawn for the paper by a soldier named Joe P. Campbell.  These cartoons would not be acceptable today because almost all of them are quite sexist in tone, and there are a couple of extremely racist ones as well.  Nonetheless, it is a true period piece of historical value.  Very good condition inside, no loose or torn pages, cover shows some chipping  wear.
